What you will learn
- The week has 7 days that always come in the same order: Monday to Sunday.
- The year has 12 months that always come in the same order: January to December.
- Knowing the order helps you say what comes before or after a day or month.
Key concepts
Verbal: Say the days or months in order from the start. Count forward to find what comes after, or backward to find what comes before.
Symbolic: Monday → Tuesday → Wednesday → Thursday → Friday → Saturday → Sunday. January → February → March → ... → December.
