Worked example

Step 1 — **since + point** → present perfect.
Answer: She **has worked** / **has been working** here since 2021.
Both acceptable; continuous emphasises duration.

Common mistakes

  • Since with simple past.
  • Will in both clauses of type-1 conditional.
  • Past perfect overuse where simple past enough.
  • Static verbs in continuous (knowing → know).
